Item Description

Retgersite is a rare hydrated nickel silicate with a beautiful glowing emerald green color, similar to Dioptase. Pieces from the type locality - the Ragra Mine in Peru - are rare on the market. Here we have a 30 mm glass vial that is loaded with dozens of tiny (> 1 mm) crystals of GEM quality, fantastic rich blue-green color single crystals. The crystals are small, but this is certainly the most I've seen in one place. If you collect rarities or species from the type locality, don't miss out on this wonderful micro vial of this beautiful material. From the collection of Eugene Carmichael.
