Red Zircon (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This is about as red as Zircon gets from most localities. This piece features a few sharp, lustrous, red crystals of Zircon measuring up to 1.1 cm across on Mica/Quartz schist matrix. A good quality Zircon, but in decent shape overall, despite a few nicks. I can't tell if the piece is repaired, but it certainly looks like it could be. One does not see many of these specimens on the market anymore these days. If you're a collector of minerals from Pakistan, this is a nice red Zircon to add to your collection.
