Item Description
These red Wulfenite specimens out of the Sichuan Province in China are some of the deepest red color crystals I've seen for the species. The only thing I can compare them to is the red tabular crystals I've seen from desert in Iran, and those pieces are impossible to find. The piece has a scattering of very sharp, lustrous, well formed, tabular deep red (with a slight orange overtone) on matrix. There is an unknown species of white, radiating needles on the specimen as well. These Wulfenite crystals are definitely more red than anything I've seen from Arizona or Mexico and despite their size (the largest crystal measures 3 mm), they are excellent quality. A fantastic specimen for any Wulfenite or secondary ore collector.
