Item Description

A classic and beautiful tourmaline from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. The gemmy, lustrous and striated tapered crystal is a gorgeous, raspberry-red color with a strawberry-red termination zone. The sides are peppered with lepidolite crystals and the pinacoidal termination has a interesting and highly unusual lepidolite encrusted cap. Old-time material from the 1960s or 70s from this famed locale. 16 grams.
