A beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, "red-tip", bi-colored tourmaline from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. The translucent, deep rose-red, complex pyramidal termination grades downward from light mint-green to gemmy, darker mint-green at the base. The backlit photos highlight the gorgeous color saturations. Complete all-around and pristine. A contact is noted on one side, but has no damage, per se. This is a fine example of these very colorful and highly desirable polychrome tourmalines and is classic, old, 1960s-1970s material from this renowned locale. 29 grams.
