A stunning red gem tourmaline from the recent January, 2011 find at the famous Cruzeiro Mine! The limpid body is a pleasing cranberry-pink and has inclusions of lighter pink tourmaline with the termination also having a thin lighter layer. The knob and clusters of lepidolite are super accents. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. You can hardly tell, that there is a big of termination edge wear. The crystal is so gemmy and it really glows, when backlit and the 4 mm super-gemmy section at the termination really lights up. Red tourmalines have always been very highly desirable and here is your chance to get a real beauty from the recent find. 49.44 carats or almost 10 grams. This was ONE pocket.
