Red gem Tourmaline (2011 find)

Item Description

A beautiful red gem tourmaline from the 2011 find at this famed locale. The limpid, ultra glassy crystal has a pleasing cranberry-pink body with a slightly dark pyramidal termination. One side is fluted, adding character. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. One edge near the termination is gently bruised and a contact at the base, where another crystal once lay, but with no damage, per se are noted. These are certainly modest detractions to this gorgeous, vibrant tourmaline. 8.64 carats mass.
