Item Description

I have seen these in the past turn up in mineral collections in Europe, where the colelction expanded to other items of natural history. I do believe they are not legally collected in recent years, but I am assured this was obtained when the collector was younger, several decades and more ago, from a gift shop in Belgium. While not strictly speaking what we would normally sell at auction here, it came with the collection and is, obviously, a beautiful and aesthetic bit of natural history, too.
