Item Description
Red Beryl is certainly among the most recognizable, desirable and rarest of gems / minerals from the Western United States. This Beryl variety is one of the great combinations of rarity and beauty in both worlds. The classic "gooseberry" color crystals have attracted collectors for years, and are now in short supply and high demand. This set features a beautiful, translucent, sharp, lustrous, hexagonal prismatic crystal with minor Rhyolite matrix. The stone is a VS clarity "Round Brilliant" cut stone that looks better in person than the photos might indicate. The fact that the stone is over 1 carat makes all the difference in the world from a collector standpoint. As I said, it is becoming very difficult to obtain any good pieces / gemstones of Red Beryl on the market these days, and this set will more than likely end up being a great bargain for somebody. Valued at $2200.
