Red Beryl

A very attractive thumbnail of two red beryl crystals on matrix thumbnail from Utah. The aesthetically placed terminated crystals have glassy luster and beautiful violet-red color. The large 1.4 cm crystal is doubly terminated. Most of the crystals are included with rhyolite, with some very gemmy sections. An excellent thumbnail of the rarest of beryl species. There has been very little recent production from this famous locale. In fact, almost none. And there will never be much more, I would bet. This fine thumbnail is intense, sharp, and complete. Valued at $400-600.
