A superb, aesthetic and pristine 360-degree combination with VERY RARE red apophyllite from Jalgaon. A stunning, 4.5 x 4.3 x 2.9 cm, tetragonal blocky cubic apophyllite crystal dramatically dominates all sides of the sculptural piece. The glassy, translucent crystal has beautiful variable hues, which are dramactically accented by a striking arboresent spray of red oxides on a frontal face and the layering and impressive stepped-growth of the highly lustrous prism faces. Pearlescent translucent, near colorless stilbite blades are very attractively scattered about the piece. The snow-white mordenite field on all sides is a fine complement. The piece hosts four more small red apophyllites, to 3.8 cm, as a super bonus. An exceptional, colorful, rare and exotic red apophyllite crystal combination.
