Red apophyllite is VERY RARE from Jalgaon and this is a superb and pristine large 360-degree combination. A stunning, 5.3 x 2.9 x 2.3 cm, tetragonal elongated blocky apophyllite dramatically dominates the front of the aesthetic piece. The glassy, translucent crystal has beautiful variable hues, which are accented by the layering and striking stepped-growth of the highly lustrous frontal face. Pearlescent salmon-pink stilbite blades cover the piece and the impressive large bowtie on the back is 9.0 cm. The snow-white mordenite field on the front is a fine complement. The front hosts four more small red apophyllites and the back and sides have four more red crystals, to 3.5 cm, as a super bonus. An exceptional, colorful, rare and exotic large red apophyllite crystal combination. Jalgaon continually amazes with the superlative quality of Zeolite Group species. Valued at $1500-2000.
