Item Description

Sharp realgar crystals are RARE from this obscure arsenic-rich King County locale. The highly lustrous, glassy thumbnail crystal has rich cherry-red color and is pristine. The crystal GLOWS, when back lit. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 8041 and acquired from the Lidstrom's at the MSSC Show in 1976. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). Very rare, seldom available Washington realgar.
