Item Description
This is a wonderful thumbnail sized specimen of these famous, classic crystals of world-classic Realgar from Shimen. This piece is rather gemmy with well-formed, sharp, lustrous, striated faces with a fiery red color. Like many Realgars, this piece shows that iconic glowing color when backlit. The piece is well terminated, but there are some small imperfections keeping it from being 100% damage free. This mine is the premier locality for Realgar crystals in the world, and to find gemmy Realgar crystals from any locality is rare.
