Item Description
Rich blood-red, lustrous, sharp, realgar prisms to 8 mm are peppered on calcite matrix on this excellent and colorful specimen from one of two, small, nearby mercury mines in Washington. Seldom on the market. Fine US realgar. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained from the Bertelli Collection in Bologna in 1980.
