Item Description
A 7 mm, sharp, translucent, intensely cherry-red realgar crystal not dimmed by exposure to light is exquisitely perched on a shard of matrix on this classic, old-time thumbnail from the famous Getchell Mine of Nevada. The large crystal is complete all-around and is nearly pristine, with only a bit of trivial edgewear noted. Very highly representative example of the species and noted locale from the Dick Jones Thumbnail Collection.
