Realgar from the Shimen Mine of China is world-renowned and this showy and excellent, two-sided, CABINET, combination specimen is a fine example. The vuggy "A" side is strikingly fringed with bright, cherry-red, realgar microcrystals, that beautifully accent two generations of calcite crystals: very glassy, well-striated, dogtooth crystals to 1.7 cm; and a rich, earlier coating of sparkly calcite microcrystals. The shocking "B" side is almost fully covered with cherry-red realgar. Highly representative and aesthetic combination material from this noted locale. Ex Zukowski Collection.
