Item Description
A shocking, very rare and superb, slightly twisted quartz crystal (called a "gwindel") from any locality. However, this is from Brumado, Brazil, and not from Switzerland or Russia where we have always assumed gwindels must come from! Four, glassy, water-clear, doubly terminated quartz crystals are elegantly stacked on the quartz crystal matrix. The matrix association alone should add a lot of value and desirability, as it is rare from other locales. Complete all-around, the gwindell is nearly pristine, excepting only very trivial and barely noticeable termination wear to a couple of the crystals. A Brazilian gwindel of this quality compares favorably with the classics from Switzerland or France. Valued at $1000-1250. If from Europe or Russia, it would cost twice this!
