Item Description

Pyrite "bars" from the Buick Mine are a rare and desirable classic for the Viburnum Trend. These came from the unique one-time 1974 find. This striking and unusual piece is composed of three, stacked, parallel-growth offset crystals with brassy luster. One side is preferentially overgrown with tiny sparkly marcasite crystals. Complete all-around and pristine on the sides, the top is contacted. A classic and rare pyrite varietal from the George Feist Collection # 2963 and valued at $950. Even the mine level is known.
