Item Description

Sharp, dogtooth, striated, native bismuth crystals are clearly visible along the crest and flattened crystals are abundant on both sides of the platy vein of brassy-silver massive bismuth. The huge crystal at the base of the piece is 3.0 cm in length, has good luster, and lovely striations. This is superb for bismuth crystallization for Canada, or anywhere outside of Germany for that matter. But for canada, it is particularly rare and I was told probably dates from the late 1800s through mid 1960s era here. Ex. Martin Lewadny Collection. valued $750-900
