Item Description
Veszelyite is a rare copper, zinc phosphate species. They reached their worldwide zenith at the famous and closed Black Pine Mine in Montana back in the 1950s and 60s. That being said, this is a HUGE example of the species, the largest we have seen! Gemmy and lustrous, discrete, uniquely blue-green crystals to 7 mm are festooned on the matrix plate. EXTREMELY RARE in this remarkable size! 3.3 pounds or 1.5 kilos. Value of such a monster piece???
