Item Description

Lustrous, metallic molybdenite flecks, to about 6 mm, are dramatically and preferenitally included in layers in this striking, large and RARE doubly terminated quartz crystal. The supremely glassy sculptural crystal is water-clear to translucent. Ex Dick Hauck Collection. Dick bought these from collector Terry Szenics, who found them in Chile in about 2004. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The three super primary display faces have only a gently bruised edge. The ends are contacted or bruised, but have minimal impact to the dramatic quality this large rarity. All of the major faces of the crystal have been polished to highlight the RARE and striking parallel inclusions in this RARE large combination from this very obscure locale. Seldom on the market. This is the BEST and largest of the small lot we obtained. 6.0 pounds or 2.7 kilos mass. Value of such a large rarity??
