A rare, large fluorite dodecahedron is nicely accented with a multitude of dogtooth calcite crystals at the base on this fine specimen from the famous mines Naica. The lustrous, colorless crystal has textbook form. The frontal face is water-clear, giving a TV-like look into the crystal interior. Other faces are preferentially frosted or water-clear. A rare and excellent combination piece from the Dr. Gary Hansen and Evan Jones Collections. Old-time material.
