Item Description

Wow! This impressive very large tabular emerald crystal from the famed Muzo Mine is dramatically accented with splendent brassy pyrite crystals. The pretty light emerald-green crystal is gemmy to translucent and is highly lustrous. Complete all-around, the stylish crystal has very interesting elongated hexagonal form with sharp faces. The display face with the pyrites and back are in great shape. You barely notice the bit of edge wear on the termination. One end is contacted with a bit of bruising. The base is a healed contact with no damage, per se. These are certainly only modest detractions to a significant large emerald crystal from this renowned locale. From an East Coast collection. Here's your chance to obtain a very large Columbian emerald with accenting pyrite at a reasonable price point. Valued at $2000-3000. 46 grams or 230 carats mass.
