Item Description

A killer, very rare small cabinet galena stalactite from this well-known Viburnum Trend mine, known for outstanding galena, siegenite, calcite and rare pyrite "bar" specimens. Stacked intergrown, bright metallic lustre galena crystals comprise this superb rarity. The projecting tabular side car galena adds much pizzazz. One side is preferentially richly cloaked with rare tiny, translucent, gray dolomite rhombs and scattered patches of bright brassy micro marcasite crystals are excellent accessories to this unique 360-degree, galena stalactite. The barely noticeable bruised tip of tabular side car is certainly acceptable in the context of this rarity. Try to find another! Valued at $1000 and worth it. ex George Feist Collection. this is a true USA treasure
