RARE Fluorite w/ Hubnerite & Quartz (Chet Lemanski Coll.)

Stunning, EXCEPTIONALLY RARE and superb fluorite, hubnerite and quartz from the famous Huayllapon Mine at Pasto Bueno, source of world-class rhodochrosite specimens. Gorgeous, gemmy, rich emerald-green interpenetrating fluorite cubes have frosted satin lustre stepped-growth faces. The impressive large cube is 5.6 x 5.2 x 3.7 cm. Complete all-around, the back hosts a dramatic spray of drusy quartz-covered Hubnerite blades, highlighted by the striking 3.5 cm terminated blade. You can see hints of classic hubnerite red under bright light. Another 3.5 cm hubnerite blade penetrates a smaller cube and peers out of the upper face. The attachment on the bottom features much more hubnerite and quartz. The cubes GLOW, when backlit. Purple fluorescence. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only one gently bruised corner and one gently cleaved corner. This is possibly a UNIQUE large fluorite and hubnerite combination from this noted locale, old, and special! This came out of the extensive fluorite subcollection of the Chet Lemanski collection, which we bought in 2019. We have never seen another like it. Value?? Hard to say, but surely $4-5k is a minimum value for this rarity and it may be worth much more.
