Item Description
Eudialyte is a rare sodium, calcium zirconium silicate found only in unusual igneous terrains, such as nepheline syenites and alkalic granites. This is an exceptional, very rich and extremely rare polished sphere of large, carmine-red, crystals and crystal fragments embedded in contrasting matrix from the famous Kola Peninsula. Well-formed crystals reach 2.2 cm on this sphere. The luster is so high, that you can see the reflection of the four floodlights on the sphere surface. An uncommonly rare sculpted specimen of a rare species. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
