Item Description
A striking and rare, doubly terminated, complete all-around, floater vanadinite specimen from Mibladen!. This piece is composed solidly of variably sized, lustrous, brick-red, hexagonal, vanadinite prisms. The dominating crystal on one end is 1.6 cm. Many of the vannies have gemmy areas and some of the crystals have an orangey-brown tint on some faces. All of the vannies have gemmy areas. The architecture of this piece looks great all around. The vannies have a preferential coating of brown material on one one side of the specimen, but can be strongly minimized by rotating the piece, as you can see in the photos. A trivial bit of edge wear is noted, but is certainly not a detraction. The piece is in superior shape for the dense coveage. Rare and highly representative of the species find.
