Exotic color and rare form cuprian smithsonite on this surreal looking combination plate from Tsumeb. Striking radial clusters of unique greenish-blue, frosted, tapered smithsonite crystals richly and dramatically cover the rolling matrix plate covered with contrasting tiny sparkly olive-green mottramite crystals. The smithsonite form resembles famous "rice grains" from the Kelly Mine in New Mexico. But, the circular forms, especially with the holes in the middle are stunning and possibly unique.
