Item Description
Blue spinel from Montana is an old classic, seldom seen in good display specimens today. This aesthetic thumbnail features two, intergrown, sharp octahedrons two 1.0 cm jauntily set atop calcite matrix. The lustrous, partially gemmy crystals have gorgeous, neon sapphire-blue color. The backlit photos highlight the gemminess and beautiful color saturation. I have seen only a handful of good examples of this material.
