Item Description
On matrix is a plate of intergrown, equant, splendent, black, ramsdellite crystals, to .5 cm across. Some of the crystals are doubly terminated. Some matrix shows at bottom. Very robust, and 3-dimensional, this is much better in person and a great larger example for the price. These ar espectacular crystals for the mineral, from a small pocket found in circa 2010 by field collector Roy Jones, who found an old entry to the underground tunnels here and went back looking for historic specimens within the mine (not the safest pasttime!) .
