Item Description

Supremely exotic looking, 360-degree cluster of quartz/chalcedony stalactites from Morocco. The aesthetically scattered columns, to 4.0 cm, and highly sculptural matrix are composed of pretty oxide-tinted quartz or chalcedony with sparkling overcoats of secondary, microcrystalline, colorless quartz. The stunning secondary 'halo' on one of the stalactites is a surreal accessory. There is blue Chalcedony underlying the oxide-tinted stalactites. Probably from the Marrakesh-Safi Region, Morocco. From the Bill Larson Quartz collection case, of approximately 250 specimens, which we bought in 2023. An otherworldly looking stalactitic quartz/chalcedony combination from a famous collector, miner and gem dealer.
