Item Description
Water-clear, lustrous, quartz crystals to 3.0 cm densely cover this showy and excellent CABINET plate from the famous Mundo Nuevo Mine, near Pasto Bueno. This fine piece from the 1970s and 80s finds is higlighted by at least three, flattened, Japan-law twin quartz crystals. They were difficult to capture in photographs with the extemely dense coverage of normal quartz crystals. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but this remains a highly representative example of the species and noted locale. Ex Zukowski Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
