An uncommon and exceptional large quartz crystal plate from the St Gotthard Massif of Uri. Water-clear gem to translucent crystals are arranged in striking jackstraw fashion on this dramatic plate. The superlative gem crystal is 6.5 cm long and the large prism on the right side is 9.9 cm long. Very nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising to the two large crystal tips. Remarkable for the overall quality, rareness and size of this stunning specimen. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and formerly in the American Museum Gem Collection. Value???
