Item Description

Quartz crystals are EXTREMELY RARE from this obscure California quartz locale. This is a striking, large intergrown pair of water-clear to translucent, doubly terminated crystals dramatically accented by yellow iron oxide coatings in the middle and unusual tabular quartz crystals to 6.0 cm. The large crystals are in great shape, with only very gentle termination bruising. The contact is on the back, where the many smaller crystals are. A fascinating and rare 360-degree specimen with many display possibilities from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
