Item Description
This fantastic cluster has seven crystals on it, the largest of which is 6 cm long (only one is small, and one is intergrown). The Quartz crystals are razor-sharp and water clear, and they are rife with slender, attractive Tourmaline needles. Some of the Tourmalines even extend the length of the crystals. On top of all that, the luster is superb. So good, it reminds of the Alpine Smokies, which are as good as it gets. As with most Quartz that is hard-rock mined, there is a little bit of edgewear, but it hardly detracts at all from the magnificence of this cluster. A great, interesting, and aesthetic specimen. Without question, this is one of the most alluring Quartz specimens I have ever owned in my collection (Jeff Starr, speaking).
