Item Description
This is a natural and unpolished quartz crystal with shockingly contrasting, defined, rich inclusions of schorl. The crystal is complete and doubly-terminated, and 91 grams. This is from the remarkably diverse inclusions collection of legendary collector, and equally legendary friend to many of us, Rock Currier (#8273 with label). This specimen is part of the 2023 Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium benefit auction, with proceeds benefiting Mineralogical Record, Rocks & Minerals, Tucson Gem and Mineral Society, and mindat.org.
