Item Description

This Peruvian miniature is from the heyday of mining these Quartz-Sulfide combos back in the 1970s and 1980s. Lustrous, colorless and transparent Quartz crystals to 2cm in length strategically emanate from an elongate cluster of lustrous "blackjack" Sphalerite crystals, The Quartz crystals are very well formed and the Sphalerites are jet-black and super lustrous with crystals to 1.3cm across. The matrix is granular Quartz-Sphalerite. A showy miniature!
