A beautiful Quartz and Siderite miniature from a classic French locale. Fine, lustrous, gem quality, colorless prismatic hexagonal crystals of Quartz measuring up to 3.1 cm are associated with sharp, well-formed golden-brown (iron-coated) rhombs with a lovely compressed form. These are some of the most well-known examples of Siderite from any locality in Europe and arguably the world. Very little damage on the display side and three-dimensional for the material.
