Item Description

Panasqueira is one of the more classic "modern" European localities. Although the area is defunct, it produced some amazing specimens about 40 years ago. It is certainly one of the most distinctive localities in the world and it has produced some amazing Apatite specimens. This piece features a couple sharp, lustrous, gemmy to translucent, hexagonal, colorless Quartz crystals measuring up to 1.7 cm which are aesthetically sitting amongs fairly sharp, hexagonal tan Siderite with bladed metallic silvery Muscovite "rosettes". The piece is in great shape, and is an aesthetic display piece from this well-known mining district. The piece can be displayed from a few angles, and these specimens are simply not seen on the market these days.
