Quartz with Rutile stars on Hematite inclusions

Item Description

Two examples of classic rutilated quartz that localized around hematite, included inside quartz, and now cut into appealing and wearable gemstones. The larger is 46.3 carats and 3.1 x 2.2 x 0.6 cm, and shows a dramatic star within of rutile radiating out from a central hematite crystal. This is classic for the material. The smaller stone is 1.3 x 1.3 x 0.6 cm and 8.1 carats, with an unusually sharp hematite crystal within.
