Item Description
Sculptural and well-balanced small cabinet combination from the well-known Novo Horizonte area of Minas Gerais. A fine, centrally-placed, 3.1 cm parallel-growth, gem rutilated quartz crystal highlights the triangular piece. The left side hosts two classic diverging sprays of lustrous, golden rutile blades epitaxial on platy hematite. The upper right hosts more gem rutilated quartz crystals with parallel-growth sprays of golden rutile blades below. Classic material and a fine representative example from the collection of Bruno Gioia, a jeweler and mineral collector in Sao Paulo Brazil.
