Item Description
Rutile is very rare from Pakistan and bright rutile inclusions in gemmy quartz all the more so. This gorgeous specimen has shiny quartz crystals to 12 cm, many of which are infused with golden needles of rutile within. It really glows when backlit, and the quartz is a high quality all on its own - truly glassy and bright, not milky and murky as so many are. This is the largest fine, complete, undamaged cluster of this material we have seen (and Gene agrees) from a find of this material some years ago.
