Quartz with Pyrite

Item Description

A very classically styled Quartz miniature from the lead-zinc mines in the Trepca Complex in Kosovo. A very prominent, 5.5cm milky Quartz crystal starts out slender at the base at 1.5cm and then widens toward the termination where it is 2.2cm across. Most of the body of the crystal is translucent, however, the tip is gemmy. For added interest and aesthetics, there is a cluster of very small and very bright Pyrite crystals with needle Quartz that really sets this cute piece off!
