Phantom quartz crystals are a very uncommon and desirable varietal from the Shigar Valley. A prominent frosted, pyramidal phantom is well-placed in the center of this stout, water-clear quartz crystal. The frosted termination faces with clay inclusions add character to these unusual, uneven faces. Complete all-around, the termination tip is contacted and bruised, and one prism face is partially contacted, but has no damage, per se.
