Item Description
This is as natural as you can get it, a mine-run specimen showing how these ofton come out of the ground, with iron staining on the surfaces. The new age and metaphysical people call these a "Golden healer cluster" when it has a nice, even coverage of what is essentially rust on a rock, iron staining. The miners and collectors use to clean them all off with acid, muriatic acid or some such, to get clear quartz. But, some collectors, and certainly the metaphysical market, love the coated surface when it is so evenly stained. This one has a perfect iron stain with quartz crystals to 4.5 cm shooting up. This type of material is famous from this long closed location: Bear Mtn, Montgomery County - and it comes from an old collection.
