Quartz with iron coloration

Item Description

A huge, dramatic, two-sided, LARGE CABINET, Chinese plate covered with striking, yellow, iron-stained, water-clear quartz crystals on one side and much smaller, drusy quartz-covered quartz crystals on the other side. The quartz crystals reach about 5-6 cm. The yellow iron stain is not your typical red iron oxide stain and makes for a very showy large piece. The few bruised quartz crystals and periphery wear on one side are modest detractions to this monster. Highly representative, very large material from an uncommon Chinese locality for quartz. 10.8 pounds or 4.9 kilos.
