Item Description
Here we have wonderful old-time classic display piece of this well-known association from one of the most well known mining districts in England. This showy small cabinet specimen hosts many very sharp and lustrous, gemmy to translucent Quartz crystals with the well-known doubly-terminated bi-pyramidal habit are sitting on brilliant metallic silvery Hematite (variety "Specularite") rosettes which are overgrowing dark grey-red colored botryoidal ''Kidney Ore'' Hematite matrix. The largest Quartz crystal measures 7 mm. Hard to find on the market today. The piece is in good shape, though there are some contacted areas, so it's not pristine, but still very attractive in person.
