Quartz with Hematite inclusions (rare SCEPTER habit for the locality)

A beautiful and showy display specimen of these highly distinctive Quartz specimens from the 2nd Sovetskii Mine in Dalnegorsk. I've seen these pieces labeled as Hematoid Quartz and Red Quartz, though the color is closer to a deep peachy-orange hue on this particular specimen. What really makes this piece special and different from the vast majority of these "Red Quartz" specimens is that THIS one features rarely seen SCEPTER habits on many of the crystals. I have only seen a select few of these specimens, I have to believe there was only one pocket, and if you're a Quartz collector or a fan of minerals from Dalnegorsk, this is something that is almost impossible to find on the market. Now not all of the crystals feature scepter habits, but a good majority of them certainly do, and they look beautiful up close. The largest crystal measures 2.4 cm. Most crystals are undamaged, but there are a few broken crystals, though they hide well among all of the others. A really choice and highly desirable example of these iconic Quartz specimens, with a rare crystal habit for the material.
