Quartz with Hematite inclusions

Item Description

Striking cluster of the classic Hematite-included Quartz crystals from the Orange River area. The largest of the Quartz crystals is about 2.5 cm. What makes this exceptional is that the Quartz crystals have a final, clear Quartz generation that makes the specimen look like it has been in an ice storm (Quartz storm, if you will). This is clearly (excuse the pun) a step above the others that I have seen, simply for this gemmy, water clear overgrowth. A few minor dings, but remarkably pristine overall.
